Derry City Caravan Park enjoys the distinction of being the city’s first, and so far only facility devoted to providing a high-quality camping experience for caravanners and campers.

The park is ideally situated to afford access to the historic and beautiful City of Derry, lying on the banks of the majestic River Foyle, with its famous walls (the only completely walled city in Ireland), cathedrals, theatres, restaurants and shops. The city also boasts one of the most modern and vibrant theatres in the land, cinemas, museums, beautifully maintained parks and a wide range of sporting and leisure facilities. Bulletin boards at the reception keep visitors informed of upcoming activities or events in the local area.

Derry City Caravan Park is an ideal base for exploring further afield into Counties Donegal, Tyrone and Antrim. The nearby Sperrin and Donegal hills, the Causeway Coast and the glorious peninsulas of north Donegal make the area a delight for visitors who appreciate scenic beauty, variety and a pace of life that, for many, seems lost in the past.

At Derry City Caravan Park we aim to provide the highest quality of facilities on a peaceful and well-managed site. Our facilities are designed and equipped to the highest standards of taste and convenience, with a keen eye for environmental impact. To this end we endeavour to incorporate into the park a high degree of thought and innovation.

Recycling is encouraged through the use of designated bins for glass, paper, plastic and metal waste. Composting of grass clippings and biodegradable waste provides compost for flower beds. Alternative energy sources are being investigated as a means of providing sustainable heating and lighting. Your input to this process is most welcome!

Other facilities available to visitors include the children’s play park, games room, our recently-established dog walk, public telephone and internet access at reception.

We hope your stay with us is a pleasant one and always welcome suggestions on how to improve. Come along and enjoy our park, our city, our country!
